Colleen,
My Mom did the same thing and the Dr. in the US told her that it is FAR more painful than breaking a rib! Hope you're feeling much better. Have a safe trip to the States.
Oh...ouch! Glad you got meds for the tear and infection! We have to take our xrays back to the doctor here in Ireland too...
Lift and separate, lol!!
I can't wait to see the shwe shwe DJ develop!!
It sounds like you are having a rough week though I hope it gets better! Just think, in a few more days you'll be back in the States and things will be like you know them! I can relate to the strange medical practices! I have them all the time in Japan. I tell my husband I'd better not become seriously ill in Japan because just the way they do things makes me cringe. No hope that my psyche would help me in any healing process!
Hope you have a safe, pain-free, trip back to the States. I was struck by the gun drop off points at our local casino here in Cape Town too. We'd never see it in Australia.
hello colleen, I hope you feel better soon, with a long trip ahead you will certainly need your sewing to keep you sane!!
Safe journey and best wishes*
I'm glad to hear you got a real diagnosis and helpful medication for your rib/intercostal(?) It will make your travel so much more comfortable.
hope you get to feeling better, ma! see you in about a week!!~~dana
Oh my goodness, regardless of whether cracked or torn - owwwwww! I am glad you have painkillers though, sounds awful. Hope they help you through the journey home ...
I have done exactly the same with my chest and ribs and golly yes it is very painful all I can do is rest and quilt. I love reading your posts and hope that you feel better soon.
