Well it was a sad day here at the homestead. In preparing to go on a quick visit to see my mom, we decided to take down the redneck pool.... The professor had to get into the pool to unplug the valve inside the pool. Then after getting out.... he had to dawn his lovely kilt towel.... a special pressie from friends in the UK.

That quilt looks gorgoeous.
I imagine the pool will get plenty of more use, looks like a lot of fun was had in it
What a sweet kilt!!!! Gotta love it.
The quilt is gorgeous. I love the colors and the pattern. Nice job!!
I clicked on the darker picture of the quilt and could see the quilting nicely. GREAT job! I have been hesitant to try McTavishing, but am planning on trying a new quilting technique each month. It will need to go high on the list! Love those colors...
Your McTavishing looks pretty good to me! I am still not sure what to quilt when and in what order. I see you quilted around your motifs, then did the McTavishing/background. I enlarged the photo and can see it well enough to see it's lovely. 8-)
That quilt is amazing! Love the kilt towel too. Its a sad day without the pool. :(
I love the quilt, and you did a wonderful job on it.

A kilt towel! What a kick *s*
Your quilting on this is exquisite! I love the quilt pattern too! Hope you had a good time putting on the binding last night!
That quilting is to die for, lovely, lovely. I'm so sorry on the loss of your pool.
