Had to post my latest trial in longarming.I am showing it from the back, because the front was a rag basically, has rust spots left from old pins, and mildew where it s
at exposed to the damp...for ... more years than I care to admit. I was trying out some free hand feathering...some small, some wonky ones. But lots of fun, and good practice. I will probably donate it to the Spca, or give it a tea staining.... and hang it on the porch! Then the crummy spots won't show. Hoping this will count as a UFO.... since it definitely wasn't finished. Will add some sort of binding...then it is done.!
Good practice for me though. Still waiting for some patterns to come to try pantos. Had to share more silly signage... recently went to Tennessee to see DD and the wee one, and of course passed many political signs. I don't know

Those are GREAT feathers in such a short time! Very cool. ~jen~
Well done with the practice piece...I have been toying with the idea of getting a longarm...but I can't afford it at this point.... Hope your ship comes in soon....it will be so much fun to go thru all your things...it will be like having new stuff (but with memories!).....
WOW WOW AND WOW!!! Your quilting is awesome!! Mine will be going out in the mail on payday. :) Really great job!!

Your quilting is beautiful!!
Wow - look at you go! I've got to get over my fear of feathers. I want to make them, but I just freeze up. You've inspired me to have another go at them *s*
Those signs are too funny!
thanks for your visit. This quilting is great (and the fronmt of the quilt looks lovely and less rag like than any quilt Ive made!)...maybe all i need is a longarm machine to solve all my problems....
If that's practice, well, I can't wait to see the perfected pieces. Beautiful! But, you must hear me laughing from here to there. The signs are great, especially those from Austin Peay. Gotta name, might as well go with it! Will you post what arrives from South Africa? I'd love to see, especially if it's fabric!
